Stephen Dawson
Principal Solicitor
Stephen is the Founder and Principal Solicitor at Dawson Lawyers and Wollongong Conveyancing Services. Stephen was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 1977 and the High Court of Australia in 1980. Stephen is a Law Society of New South Wales Accredited Specialist in Property Law, and has been for over 20 years.
Stephen is an active member of the Illawarra community and currently sits on the board of “Greenacres Disability Services” and “City Diggers Wollongong”.
Stephen understands the issues faced by his clients and prides himself on explaining the law and the rights of his clients in a clear and concise manner. Stephen represents both individuals and businesses in all legal matters.
When Stephen is not at the office you can often find him sailing or spending time with his family.

Jordan Vincent
Solicitor
Jordan is our Family Law Solicitor, admitted into the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2016 and admitted into the High Court in 2017.
Jordan studied her Bachelor of Law at University of Wollongong and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at Australian National University. Jordan worked in a national firm based in Sydney before coming back to Wollongong to work with Dawson Lawyers in 2019.
Since joining Dawson Lawyers, Jordan has been accepted as a panel Solicitor on the Family Law Panel for Legal Aid NSW.
Jordan practices in a range of areas, including Family Law, Criminal Law and Civil Law and is able to assist with a range of other legal issues. Jordan has appeared in a range of Courts, including regularly appearing in the Wollongong Federal Circuit Court and the Wollongong Local Court.

Jacqueline Pipe
Licensed Conveyancer
Jackie is our Licensed Conveyancer.
Jackie joined Dawson Lawyers and Wollongong Conveyancing Services in 2017 assisting in Conveyancing and Property matters.
After beginning her legal career in a Top Tier Sydney law firm, Jackie relocated to the Illawarra and is enjoying the family focused and personalised service a smaller law firm offers.
Jackie completed the Associate Degree in Law (Paralegal Studies) through Southern Cross University in 2004 majoring in conveyancing. Jackie has been a licenced Conveyancer since 2018.
Jackie is also a Justice of the Peace registered in New South Wales.

Alison Edwards
Paralegal
Alison is a Paralegal with over 30 years’ experience. She was born in the Illawarra and has a wealth of knowledge in Conveyancing, Estate matters & Wills. Alison has worked for a number of large Sydney firms and first worked with Stephen Dawson in the '90s.
Alison has been a member of Dawson Lawyers since 2017 working alongside our Wills and Estates team and is a Justice of the Peace registered in New South Wales.

Trinity Maat
Legal Assistant
Trinity began working with the Dawson Lawyers, Wollongong Conveyancing team in 2018 and is working as one of our friendly Legal Secretaries working alongside our Property & Conveyancing Team.
Trinity completed her Business Traineeship in February 2019 with Australian College of Commerce & Management and was nominated for the “NSW Trainee of the Year” in the NSW Trainee Awards for 2019.
Trinity is currently studying Associate Degree in Law (Paralegal Studies) through Southern Cross University.

Brooke Grootemaat
Receptionist
Brooke is the most recent addition to the Dawson Lawyers, Wollongong Conveyancing team. Brooke is currently completing a Business Traineeship through the College of Commerce and Management.
Brooke is our friendly Receptionist and also assists our Wills and Estates and Family Law teams.
Brooke is an Illawarra local having completed Highschool at Corpus Christi High School and began her first year of her Criminology Degree at Wollongong University, before taking a gap year to complete her Traineeship.
